It really doesn't make any sense to commit a crime if your not going to secure your getaway. Some of these criminals are so dumb they might as well turn themselves in. It would make more sense.

Anyone who is capable of doing this to a child does not deserve to live. And it's imperative that they find this idiot and prosecute him to the full extent of the law. There is nothing anyone could do that would be punishment enough for him.

I would think if its bad enough, one of the officers might have to transfer to another precinct. I would think that continuous hostility between the two can't be good for moral. If not they may have to get rid of one or both altogether.

I don't know how hard it was for her, but it definitely was the right thing to do. Hopefully in the long run, the youngster will learn a valuable lesson. I think if he takes responsibility for what he did, that's a good sign he might go straight.

You would hope that a professional person such as a doctor would be more concerned the oath that he took and his reputation, but obviously this is not the case. These are the people trust and put confidence in. It's disturbing to hear something like this.

It's the responsibility of the man to know the law and to know that he's breaking the law. If the man was in doubt of the law he was about to break then refrain from doing it until he is certain.

I don't follow them too much but since most of them are plastered on the television screen, I usually wind up watching more than I intended. I think the media is responsible for making most of these cases high profile with their mass coverage of the events.

I've always been for the death penalty. When you unprovokingly kill someone, there's no way you can give their life back and it seems very unfair to me that the perpetrator should live.

With all the dating sites and services available today, it's ridiculous that someone would use an emergency service to get a date. Whatever his sentence is it should be doubled or tripled for this offense.

It may be so but around my neck of the woods, that is not the case. Just the other week a high profile football player was arrested when he got angry and kicked his girlfriend's car.They have cracked down on anyone who is high profile or with celebrity status.

Since mugshots are basically for the police viewing, Its probably in their best interest to make the defendant look as guilty as possible. Usually there's some guilt involved to be getting a mugshot in the first place. But not every time.

I think this is a big part of why the Judicial System is so screwed up. Because it seems like half the people who are arrested, will be back on the streets before their paper work dries. On a positive note, maybe the lady will learn from her mistake.
