Why did you become a cop?

What made you decide to become a cop? Is there someone that was a big influence? Did something happen that made you come to the decision?

When I think about the dedication, risk and sacrifice - it makes me curious as to the driving force behind such a decision. Personally, I'm very thankful for all that you do, but I can't imagine putting myself in the situations you all do. It takes a special/brave man/woman for this job.

I want to become a cop. Its because you get to wear a bad ass uniform making you feel elite or special among the rest. And you are authorized to carry a gun. You know why? Because you are a cop. No questions asked. Whether you are off duty, you are bound by your responsibility to help someone in need. You cannot turn a blind eye if someone is in need of help. Because you swore an oath and you must held your end of the deal.
