What is your opinion of pyramid systems to make money?

I ask that because I see many pyramids systems cheating people. Most promise to earn fast money and more things, but ultimately swindle people.

I already am enraged, because that word itself makes me fume with anger. It is a money laundering system that people fall for blindly, blame it on their lucrative offers.
If you are sitting at the top of the hierarchy, your ass will feel comfortable, lest you gotta feel huge pain.

Pyramid systems are tricky since most people would say they are scams. Yes this is true about a lot of them since they are hard to gauge whether they are legit or not.

I would steer well away from there. It is not worth putting in your money, in the hope that enough people will join the scheme so that you can pull out with some profit. Most of the time these schemes crumble and you will never see your money again. I would rather blow it at a casino.

Pyramid or Ponzi schemes are illegal. They do not actually invest the money at all. It is a shell game of moving money to make it look like there is money. If I give you $1000, but then you give $500 to someone else, and each of those people give $250 to someone else... there is no increase in the money, there is only the same $1000 divided amongst people. Those at the top get the money, and those at the bottom are relying upon other "investors" to get their earnings back. There is nothing good about this.

I am a victim of the pyramid scheme. Sometimes I think that it could have been a dream. A friend of mine introduced me to a pyramid scheme where she had been paid on two occasions. Besides, the people who were running the scheme were said to be religious with the intention of helping people. I went to the bank and bought a banker’s cheque in the name of their establishment. I lost a good amount of money.

They are definitely illegal, but many try to hide behind the front of a legitimate business. In general, anything which asks for your money first, in exchange for absurdly high returns in the future, is likely to be a scam. If it's too good to be true, it probably is.

The simple fact is that pyramid schemes are a waste of time to involve yourself in. You will eventually end up losing most if not all your money. Any money that isn't lost is most likely going straight to the main on top.

I had a friend trying to convince me to join Telexfree and I am glad I refused because it bankrupted and the guy lost all his money... :(

he pyramid system (or scheme) is not fair. The whole idea of it is that the people at the top will make more than the people at the bottom. Ultimately the system will fall apart when the ones who join late don't earn much if anything because the pool of potential new people is exhausted. The people at the top who have made money will then perhaps move on and start a new one to earn even more.

Stay away from anything like this, you never know where you may be in the pyramid. The chances of being at the bottom are far higher than the top, and even if you are farther up, do you really want to know you have made your money by basically swindling the ignorant people who joined behind you?
