Trooper Timothy P. Pratt

New York State Police Trooper Timothy P. Pratt passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016.

Authorities say he was out of his cruiser and was struck by a passing vehicle as he assisted a stopped car.

Trooper Pratt was a 30-year veteran of the New York State Police.

He is survived by a fiancee, two sons and a daughter.
