The worst experience you've had with a cop?

What is the worst experience you've ever had with a cop?
A year or two ago, my license had expired, so I was driving to the DMV to get it renewed. I was speeding and got pulled over, and the cop asked me for my license and saw that it had expired that very same day. He gave me a huge ticket for driving with an expired license. I tried to explain to him that I was on my way to renew it, and I was 5 minutes away from the building, but he still wouldn't let me off the hook! Lol, oh well.

The worst experience I ever had is in the mall. By mistake they forgot to bill a particular item and then it seemed like I had stolen something. That is when I encountered the police. It seemed like a really bad day.

A little backstory is needed here.

I have a sleeping disorder which makes my sleep schedule rotate around the clock. This started manifesting itself in the first year of high school. My father had a rule that I had to finish my homework before I could take a nap after school. Well one day he came home early and caught me napping before I had done my homework. He tried to drag me out of bed but I resisted, he threatened to break my arm if I didn't go do my homework right that instant.

I kicked him and ran and barricaded myself in the bathroom and called the police. The Police of course didn't believe my story and left me at home with him. After they left I waited 30 minutes and called the Police a second time. Some other Police showed up and were a bit more sympathetic and I ended up being taken to the hospital (YAY Mental Eval!) where I spent the next Month trying to work on "Anger Management" (really they were mostly trying to figure out my sleep) and away from my father.

So yea, the worst cops I've ever had to deal with were those first two who showed up and didn't even bother to see me, they just left me in the bathroom waiting.

When I was gambling, I had to show my driver's license to prove I was over 21. I just lost some money on a machine and was a little steamed about it. I took it out a little on the cop and he said to pay some respect. After that, I was trying to avoid seeing the officer again for the rest of the night.

There was one time that I was in bookings and I was there with a meth addict overnight. He was suffering from withdrawal (which I didn't really know at the time) and was shaking and going crazy. All the cops were telling him to shut up and how they didn't believe that he was serious as the situation got worse and worse. Eventually, they let him go home, but it was a really bad situation and the cops could've handled it better.

Yup,many, but to put up one for an instance i was made to beg for pardon, because i didnt have any of the docs the cop asked for.It was 4 yrs back.I did have everything at home but this guy literally made me cry.He took me to the station and made me call up my parents who in turn brought the docs.
This guy was an arse..

I had just been in a "domestic" fight, and got beat up. I was shaken. Some passerby had called the police and had given me water -- I had a bloody lip and bruises but water was all I asked for, I was so thirsty.

The cops came, three of them, talked to the passerbys, to me, to the other guy who was also in shock. They kept asking me questions and I answered them how I felt I could, but some answers did not seem to satisfy them -- when they asked what I was gonna do now, I had no idea and said so, and they were like "Don't waste our time here! You're a grown woman and we ain't got all night!" In the end, the policeman just seemed to lose patience with me and left his two other colleagues to interrogate me. They just indicated the way to a train station, gave me my stuff, and sent me on my way. I was still shaken and panicking and reeling from all the fear I had before.

I thought that was a bit insensitive.

But the next day I met another cop who was on his way to work (I did not know this when I asked for his help explaining me something) and he was so nice and patient and helpful and then his concern when he realized how shaken up I still was... Makes me wish he had been the one who'd have been coming the night prior.

Luckily enough I never had a really bad experience, but I recently had an accident and the police officers weren't very friendly, but that's just normal where I live.
