I have a tattoo that is located on my upper arm. I was told that a certain street gang has a similar tattoo to show their affiliation. If you know me or even by looking at me you can tell that I am not a member of a gang. I wanted to know what would happen if I was out in town and a person from a gang saw my tattoo, would they confront or even attack me?

I have responded to calls from people who were attacked by gang members because of their tattoos or their outfit having a certain color in the wrong part of town.
