Pediatric Nurse Accused Of Molesting Two Month Old Foster Baby

A San Diego pediatric nurse has been arrested for molesting a 2-month-old foster baby that was placed in his care, the FBI said Wednesday.
Michael William Lutts, 50, pleaded not guilty in federal court yesterday to a charge of sexually exploiting a child, said Darrell Foxworth, an FBI spokesman.
The foster parent and Kaiser Permanente nurse is accused of starting the lewd acts the day he received custody of the prematurely born baby. According to agent Foxworth, while agents were executing a federal search warrant they discovered a cell phone containing images and videos of Lutts performing sexual acts on the newborn.
“The images were very disturbing.†said Foxworth. “During a review of that cell phone they unfortunately found images in the video of Mr. Lutts engaged in sexual molestation of this 2-month-old child that was in his custody.â€

Foxworth said the agents also seized computers, hard drives, hundreds of CDs and other items containing hundreds of child pornography images and videos.
Court records reveal disturbing details about the alleged abuse. It say Lutts touched and manipulated the baby's genitals while masturbating and recording the abuse. Photos show the newborn still had the hospital tag attached on the leg.
"In my 28 years of being an FBI agent, it's one of the more disturbing cases," Foxworth said. "You look at the age of the victim here. This is a helpless child."
Foxworth said the U.S. Attorney's Office is looking into additional charges against the suspect. Lutts is being held at the Metropolitan Correctional Center and will next be appear in court on Friday for a detention hearing.
The 2-month-old baby has since been placed in Child Protective Services care.

This is just so bad that it sounds like a script in a horror movie. This baby was born prematurely and that does not even enter the mind of this sick man as he abuses him sexually. He goes an extra step and records it on video. I guess the world is coming to an end with the things that grown, learned persons are doing day by day.

What kind of sicko would do this to a newborn baby? Its bad enough that he was a premature and a foster child, but for a doctor to do this is just horrible and scary. People like this is going to make it hard for mother's to even trust male doctors with their children. I hope he rots in prison for doing this.
