Officer Lesley Zerebny and Officer Gil Vega were both fatally shot while responding to a domestic disturbance call on Saturday, October 8, 2016.
A third officer was also wounded during the incident.
Officer Zerebny, 27, had served with the Palm Springs Police Department, California for 18 months.
She was survived by her husband, and 4-month-old child.
