George Zimmerman allegedly threatened to kill a driver during a road rage incident and later showed up at the man's workplace, according to Lake Mary police.
Authorities say they received a 911 call Tuesday from a man scared for his personal safety. He claimed Zimmerman threatened to kill him and he was waiting for him outside his place of work.
During the road rage incident, police said the driver recognized the driver as Zimmerman. The man said Zimmerman asked, "Do you know who I am?" before saying, "I will f****ng kill you!"
The driver told police Zimmerman followed him into the parking lot where he works, but after a couple minutes Zimmerman took off.
The man said he called police after Zimmerman showed up at his workplace a couple days later.
Lake Mary police said they questioned Zimmerman, who admitted to exchanging words with the man.
Police said the unnamed driver does not want to file charges, so Zimmerman will not be arrested.
Zimmerman was acquitted of murder last July in the February 2012 shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. After that his estranged wife Shellie Zimmerman accused him of threatening to kill her and her dad, however she never filed charges. More recently he was arrested and accused of domestic violence by his then-girlfriend, but she eventually dropped the charges.
