Do You Live in Fear?

As a police officer, do you find yourself in fear often as you approach as situation? Maybe it depends on the type of crime or situation you are approaching and the area you work in. Are you ever afraid as you approach someone until you find out their attitude and behavior?

Well, fear is a healthy thing to feel in certain situations so I hope so. Otherwise I'd be concerned with the mental state of the officer. I would think you have to be weary of every situation as an officer. Even people with the best attitude could be acting a certain way because something is wrong.

I think police officers also experience fear. They are just humans anyway. It's totally just natural. Being too arrogant and self-assured could put you to danger so they must weigh things and possibilities first before they approach a situation or a criminal/person.
