70 yr old woman beaten and robbed for tax refund

Ugh. This is horrendous. I wish I could have found the ones responsible and made them have a "Final Destination" type of way out of life.
 
This is just barbaric! Such a senior citizen subjected to bodily harm at a world renown store. Surely whatever her crime, meshing out physical abuse on her was totally unacceptable.
 
There was no point, some people are just wired the wrong way. Usually hard drugs are involved when it comes to something this brutal.
 
I think Nate is correct here, some people just don't care who the victimize and the fact that she was an elderly lady probably had no bearing on his decision to commit the crime. He probably was on some drugs and not thinking straight. The problem is that if anyone takes action, then the robber could charge you with assault.
 
Where I live, the robber could NOT charge a good samaritan with assault. If I ever witnessed such a thing, I would definitely fire off some shots! What a worthless pos!:mad:
 
Why am I not surprised that this happened at a Walmart? It's ridiculous. How about they just stop cashing checks until they have the proper amount of security for such things.

I too reckon the other way around.Why aren't these people shot out just by accident of sorts.? Harsh reality is it never will happen when its required to.:/
 
Why don't these places have adequate security? I'm sure all these places are a target and the thing is older people don't like online banking and people know this, but cashing checks shouldn't be risky, but any cash transactions seem to be these days.
 
It's insanely horrible. What kind of people would do such a thing to an old woman? They have already robbed her, why would they have to beat this poor grandma as though she were some rag doll you could just abuse whenever you feel like it.
 
Old people are being attacked more these days because they are easier targets. If some people rob their own grandparents wouldn't they [such people] find it easier to steal from strangers?
