I really can't recall wanting to be a cop and my kids don't want it either. More, when they see cops they become a little frightened because they know cops take the bad guys and as they misbehave sometimes... :D

I am guessing that there is some sort of insurance on this, after all if they are killed in duty (or not) it's a professional hazard, so it has to be covered.

I would like to understand what goes on in the head of a 30 year woman to commit this sort of abuse with a kid as old as hers. Would she like that someone would the same with her kid?

Yeah I read this some weeks ago and it's a scary crime, putting fuel into her mouth, I can't imagine a worse or scarier way to die or the horror and pain she felt. :(

Sure, sometimes there is abuse, but this is something wrong because the siren is aimed to be used only in emergencies. Not many are abusing it though, at least that I see it.

I am against the death penalty for the simple reason that it would make us equal to the murderers. If the crime is severe, so life sentence should be served.

I agree, but justice will always be bureaucratic and will always take it's time regardless of the severity of the actions. Sometimes I feel that criminals have more rights that we do.

Yep, I think that the only requirement is that you are a citizen, so if you are one it doesn't really matter were you were born. For all effects you are not a foreign anymore. :)

Yeah, people always put on a show or get excited when they are on TV, it's just the way it is, people want to look good or prove to be intelligent lol.

Luckily enough I never had a really bad experience, but I recently had an accident and the police officers weren't very friendly, but that's just normal where I live.

Once there was a mess happening in my street and I called 911 saying that and I hung up, a few minutes later they came to check out, I didn't want to be identified.

I really don't get why someone would be violent to older people, I mean, they rob them, why assault them as well?
