Your best bet would be to call your local Police Departments in your area and ask if they are hiring and go from there.

That depends on you. Can you afford not to work for a period of time, if yes then just focus only on school. But if you have to work to pay for the family, then do part time. Either way it will be hard, but well worth it.

There is a possibility a person will get in trouble, usually it is a civil issue.

Most likely it’s an off-duty job, the company will pay to have a police officer work there directing traffic.

I would disclose this when applying, because if you don't and they find it you will never get hired.

The idea behind that is they can't taser someone if you don't know the effects it could have. The officer would have to know what pain they are inflicting and judge if its justifiable.

Just go to court and tell your side. But when it comes down to the word of the driver versus the word of a police officer, most likely you will lose.
