There's no reason you should pick up bad habits before getting there, I would highly recommend waiting until the academy to shoot.

My dept has been doing this way before facebook, and we still stop them and give out tickets. There are plenty of fools that don't get the message.

It could be different at each academy. You should have been given a list of stuff that is required, specifications and even where to obtain the them.

I work 10 and 12 hour shifts. It is a little long, but I am used to it. I prefer to work a longer shift and then get an extra day off.
