The police are probably trying to track the phones as is. They just have their hands full with all the current crimes they have to deal with. Government can track the phones just by the GPS signal.

Well with the gun that would be overkill LOL. You would have instructors get expelled for trying a gun on a person. The taser and the pepper spray would be more likely tested on you while at the academy.

The issue is that these situations are always tricky and then you got people who reach into their pocket for something. If the officer is in the night it is difficult to judge whether or not the subject has a loaded weapon or not. So lethal force is more than likely to be used when things heat up.

They probably try to hang out among friends. If they don't have a friend outside of the force then they hang out among other officers.

Start eating healthy and do some physical fitness. When you do that then you would be prepared for the academy. It is good to do this with a buddy of yours so you would have some moral support.

I found out that the NYPD were retraining their officers to use techniques not related to the chokehold. Seeing that the NYPD is taking this step is the right thing for the department.

Unfortunately people do not want to have that mentality in this world. Look at how many world wars and other wars we have had over the years. There is not going to be world peace it just isn't happening even if there were a zombie apocalypse.

I never been to the range in my life. I do not believe a 9-year-old girl should be firing a gun at the range. It is okay for maybe a 14 year old if they are mature enough to be taught but the parent would should really be adamant about teaching gun safety.

The good part about the academy is that they pay while you are there which is a monthly salary. You do learn a lot of things while there. The good thing is that when you do get out then you are now licensed to be a police officer.

The ages 20-30 is about average for the academy cadets. It is more rare to see some 40 year old cadets since the cut off age is 45 for entering the police force. Longer you wait the less likely you are to really get in the force. Unless you are in the UK where the cut off age is 55.

The story about the six-year-old girl getting arrested I already knew about. I felt that the little girl was not disciplined enough by her parents. The boy getting arrested for opening a christmas present too early that is appauling.

I usually do not go since I do not have the money to go to any of them. Concert tickets can be expensive to buy. I wish I could go to one when I get the money.
