What is your line of work?

There are people on this forum who do all sorts of things to make a living, so I thought I would start a discussion about it. I work security and I am also a freelance writer. What do you all do?

I do outcomes research for a nonprofit mental health facility for children. So I basically upkeep a lot of databases full of information with survey information from assessments and write reports on it. I am a few months away from completing my masters in mental health counseling but I need a brain surgery, so I'm not quite sure if I should go back right now. Decisions... Decisions....

I'm a freelance music journalist and blogger. I know, those things have nothing to do with police in any way (besides the police that shut down a lot of the shows that I go to) but I was always generally interested in police work, other people's interactions with law enforcement, and just everyone's opinion on the police. I can say that this forum has definitely shown me a lot in terms of those three things.

I am a freelance writer looking for a receptionist job. I left my full time job to write for a living. I became bankrupt and moved back with my parents. I love freelance writing and I think it is a great job as long as there is available work. This year I am applying for jobs so that I can work during the day and do my writing when I get home.

I am retired. I have a small pension and it is enough to make ends meet. Fortunately I don't have many expensive habits, so I don't need a lot of money. I spend my time now days walking around talking to people. When I get tired of that I usually go online and chat in forums.

To save money I got rid of my cable, and I don't really miss it all all. The internet costs less then cable TV and offers a lot more.

I am a part-time writer and a part-time programmer. I do these two things to make a bit of pocket money, and as I am currently a student and I've got many school years ahead of me, I figured I should save some cash.

I am a stay at home mom, criminal justice student and freelance writer. I am not sure exactly what I want to do with my criminal justice degree just yet. I am leaning towards probation officer or paralegal. I definitely don't want to be a street cop.

My line of work is quite boring. I work in a bank and I think it is totally sad and sometimes without any adventure. I think it is best to try and enjoy work but I just hate it.

I am a homeschooling mom and a Freelance writer, writing for clients and sites worldwide. I also do microtasks and blog on my own sites. I also love to do all kinds of creative things if I have time.

I am in the dept of planning for a govt funded project,a new thermal power plant.I work part time and earn a few extra bucks.I also own a small local store that sells toys and play stuff.

I run a series of Blogs that range in topics from NHL news to Comic Book News and Reviews. I earn a bit of money from ads and stuff but its not really meant to be a living. I started cause I couldn't maintain a steady job because of sleeping disorder. Great thing about online work is that you can do it at any time of the day. My partner brings in most of the money.

Oh i do that for a part time income but it ain't much,it mostly peanuts because i don't have huge traffic to my site.
Maybe a few tips from your side could give my earnings an exponential rise.

My line of work is quite good actually and I totally love it. I am an engineer, in the field of software development. I think it is quite awesome to try and learn everything about the field to actually learn it. I think it is quite cool field.

I do all of my work online for the most part and occasionally do artist commissions for people who want concept art, whether it's landscape or characters. I also sell premade character designs from time to time but from what I've found making money online is a lot more profitable than being an artist.

I am a student and I totally enjoy being just that. I think it is great to be part of community which treats as really well and I guess it is great to do just that. I wish my student life would never end.
