Many of us have preconceptions of police officers and what they do, and don't do (the ubiquitous "doughnut" jokes). But as with every job, there are aspects behind the public image that might well be surprising for the general public to learn. What are those aspects of the job? They could be either things that police officers wish that the public were more cognizant of, or perhaps things that it's just as well the public doesn't know. Thanks!
