Teen Sentenced To Life For Killing Mom, Defiling Corpse

A Texas teenager who admitted to killing his mother and having sex with her corpse was sentenced Wednesday to life in prison.
Kevin Davis, 18, reportedly admitted to detectives back in March that he attacked Kimberly Hill, his 50-year-old mother, with a hammer, strangled her with a cord and stabbed her in the head on March 27.
The trial began Tuesday, but both sides rested Wednesday morning after the defense decided not to call any witnesses.
Prosecutors played a videotaped confession Tuesday to the jurors. They heard Davis admit he attempted to strangle his mother with the power cord from a video game console, however when she did not stop screaming, he hit his mother’s head repeatedly with a hammer.
Once the mother was dead, Davis told authorities he raped her “dead corpse.†"I had sexual intercourse. Guess I lost my virginity to a dead corpse," Davis said to detectives.

Davis told police that he also planned on killing his sister. But he got tired of waiting for her to come home. He said he didn't feel like killing anymore that day so he got on left his bicycle and went out for the night.
When detectives questioned if he regretted his action, Davis replied, “In a way, yes, but I wouldn’t take back what I did,†adding, “I did love her in a way. I’m a terrible, disgusting person.â€
Davis reportedly told authorities he informed his mother that he wanted to die because he was bored with life and did not like other people. He said she was upset, but said to him she could not control him. So he decided to kill her. “I don’t have standards, I don’t have morals. A body’s a body, a piece of meat,†Davis said. “I’m not mentally disturbed, I’m sane,†he told police. “I know what I did.â€
It reportedly took the jury less than an hour to find Davis guilty.

OK, this guys is definitely not from this world, killing the mom and having sex with her? He needs to be put away for life.

This is so wrong in so many ways; he kills his mom for what reason? His sister is so lucky that she got delayed. The only good thing is that he is not walking among the population. No one wants to believe that the little bundle of joy they bring home will take them out of this earth. So very sad!

The connection between him and his mother was extremely weak and why he felt so distraught and snapped. Adam Lanza killed his mother too. Most of us don't understand how much a child need their mother and for her to be a real mother, not just somebody giving them food and shelter. Nor do we understand the psychological damage that it does to us all when women say that men come first.

I don't think that there is even an actual judgment capable of being rendered for a series of crimes this disturbing. Life in prison... really.. There has to be something better than that.

At least he's being honest about it. I think that when a person is being frank about how they feel that we should listen to what they're saying and try to learn something about it. To change the course of human despair it's not enough just to be disgusted by something someone did. We need to understand what they were feeling while they did it and learn something about human nature.
