Suspect Takes Nap During Pursuit

Authorities in Florida say a man accused of stealing a vehicle took off on foot from a traffic stop. He briefly eluded police, however he was caught after they found him taking a nap under a nearby trailer.

Deputies followed the sound of 37-year-old Kevin Lee Barbour's snoring — described as a 'snorting wild boar' — to discover him Sunday night in Santa Rose County.

At least he's not as bad as the burglar who broke into a house, packed jewelry in a bag then decided to take a quick nap before leaving. The owners of the house found him asleep, and snoring, called the cops who arrived and found the culprit still asleep and made the easiest arrest in their careers.

It really doesn't make any sense to commit a crime if your not going to secure your getaway. Some of these criminals are so dumb they might as well turn themselves in. It would make more sense.
