Last time I read about animal mutilations, it was claimed that ALIENS had done it.

This time round who is responsible for animal cruelty in Sacramento?

Obviously, an animal can't be responsible for the mutilations. Question is could it be true that the animals were used for religious rituals as sacrifices?
 
Well, that was my first thought. There are many religions and cults which encourage animal sacrifice, regardless of it's legality. Perhaps the person who dumped the headless chickens should have thought about eating the evidence?
 
I guess we would have to know how the animals were mutilated because some cults and groups do certain things in the mutilation process. In any event, it is sick and twisted and I hope they catch who is responsible.
 
Mutilations have been going on for ages. I think the general consensus is that it comes from predators who attack the cattle.
 
When you mentioned the cults having animal sacrifices, I became creeped out. But I think you cannot count those out because they really do happen. About their claim that aliens did it - I am just not buying it. Up until now I cannot make myself believe that there are aliens. Who I think did it is either humans or some wild animals.
 
I think we can all agree that this is a waste of delicious meat. It could be a number of things that would make a tad more sense than aliens: serial killers in training, occult rituals, need for chicken blood in a certain popular menu item in tow. You know the usual.

It's not cattle this time. The animals mutilated were chickens, rabbits and goats. The difference this time round is the carcasses had been packed in plastic bags and those responsible left $1 bills on the scene as their calling card. That rules out the possibility of predators being responsible for this mutilations.
 
That's pure evil. I don't understand why people would invest too much time and effort on building and joining these cults. Where would their beliefs take them anyway? I don't understand why they have to kill and mutilate animals for these insane rituals. Well, I don't care much about these people, it's their lives, their choices, but just spare the animals. No to animal cruelty.
 
The myth of using animals or people as sacrifices to gain power in cults continues. It is very sad that people think they can gain power but such deeds and these acts encourage others. I think they should have a law to prosecute all cult leaders, but if it is a religion then the Constitution allows it! With freedom comes cults and thus the outcome of brainwashing. Somehow there needs to be a law to protect people.
 
Mostly has to do with some cult or someone that is religion crazy. Or they are just sick enough to do it, I would rather they get their jollies out on cutting up animals than turning to the general population. So glad I moved to Montana, I used to live about an hour away from Sacramento.
 
If it were predators in the area I would like to know why they have developed a taste for heads & not the delicious other parts of the many animal bodies? That seems like a really picky predator.

I believe that it's satanists who are behind the mutilations. They have no respect for life. A $500 reward was offered for anyone who provided information that would lead to the arrest of those involved but I doubt that cult members will rat on each other.
 
Aliens! lol. I'm just envisioning a bunch of highly intelligent beings flying all this way to cut the heads off chickens, make some pretty designs in a field somewhere, then fly all the way back home. Just.. what is the point? Do people still believe this? lol

It could be anyone. A bunch of bored, psychotic kids. A silly cult. An aging model that heard chicken blood eliminates wrinkles. I guess people should keep a better eye on things until they figure it out. Poor animals :(
 
Probably some messed-up cultist performing some weird ritual of the fucked-up sect he belongs to. Sects are the scourge of the world.
