Riots/Protests.

How do you feel about the recent events involving the riots and what-not? It seems the media is jumping all over any chance to talk down about our police officers.

How does this make you feel? What are your thoughts on the matter?

The media loves sensational stories. It looks like it's that time when bashing the police is what makes good news stories. But by making it look like all police officers are racist, cruel, violent and so on, the people who read these stories get to believe the lies they are told and small matters are blown out of proportion and the result is all these protests and riots. While I'm all for freedom of speech I think the media as at now is abusing that freedom and it may end up demoralizing some police officers. To have people tarnishing your name when you you risk your life each day isn't going to make you like your job that much.
