O.J. Simpson the Hall of Fame running back is currently serving a 33-year sentence in the Nevada prison for armed robbery, apparently likes cookies.
The former football star reportedly tried to smuggle the cookies into his cell after lunch.
Guards noticed something under Simpson's prison clothes as he was going back to his cell. As he walked back to his cell after lunch the guard discovered Simpson hid a stash of “more than a dozen oatmeal cookies,†a source said.
When the guard questioned Simpson, he allegedly confessed to stealing the cookies.
"O.J. just stood there with a goofy grin on his face as the guard kept digging inside his shirt and throwing the cookies on the floor," according to a source.
The other inmates that witnessed the guards expose Simpson all started to laugh at him.
"When the guard started pulling cookies out of O.J.'s shirt, the other inmates started laughing so hard they nearly fell over," according to a source.
Simpson was reportedly given a warning for the alleged theft.
