Members of the NY police union protest outside Mayor de Blasio's favorite gym Monday morning.
Dozens of off duty officers stood outside the Prospect Park YMCA in Brooklyn asking for higher wages.
Were trying to get a contract for the men and women of the New York City Police Department, stated Patrolmens Benevolent Association First Vice President John Puglissi.
According to the PBA, New York City officers are being paid 30% less than police officers in twenty-five other major cities.
