A jury of six men and six women decided on Wednesday that AEG Live was not liable in the Michael Jackson wrongful death trial. Jackson died on June 25th, 2009.
Katherine Jackson, filed the negligence case against AEG Live, promoter of Jackson's "This Is It" tour, in 2010.
Jackson's mother claimed AEG did not do conduct a thorough background check on Dr. Conrad Murray. Murray was a major factor in the singer's death. AEG Live argued they did not hire Murray and said Michael had picked the doctor for his upcoming shows.
