A 23-year-old California man was arrested Saturday for allegedly killing his brother’s friend with a bow-and-arrow during an argument.
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said Garrett Adams was arguing with his girlfriend in his house when his brother and a friend attempted to intervene.
The dispute continued outside when the suspect armed himself with a hunting bow-and-arrow. He then shot his brother’s friend once, authorities said.
Officers responded to the 911 call around 3:30 a.m. According to law enforcement when they arrived, they found the victim was hit in the upper torso.
The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition but died several hours later. Officials have not released the victim’s identity yet.
Adams was arrested for murder, he is being held on $1 million bail.
