My wife and I attended a party at a restaurant. Three weeks later we get a notice from someone that my information was given as a vehicle that hit their car in a hit and run accident. I haven't been contacted by Police. Attached to the documents I received in mail from the person, is a Peace Officer crash report. The person is making threats and they want me to pay 900 dollars. They are asking me for my insurance information which I am not comfortable giving out. They informed me they have witnesses to the accident. I am puzzled by this and do not know what to do.
