These bees attacked three men who attempted to steal honey from their hive April 6, 2015, in New Port Richey, Fla.
"They were covered in bees, their beards, their hair, their clothes," neighbor Tom Johnson said. "Bees were everywhere."
An adult woman received about a dozen bee stings as she came out of her home but was not seriously injured, officials said. None of the names of those affected was released.
It was not immediately known whether they were charged with a crime. No record of their arrest was available online Monday morning from the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.
New Port Richey is a city of 15,000 about 35 miles north of St. Petersburg, Fla.
Firefighters said they used a fire hose to douse the men and disperse the bees. The hive they had disturbed contained 20,000 to 30,000 bees.

Lolz..should i laugh and scoff at these people or feel sad.?
They shd have the sense to use some kind of protection before even walking there.
20-30000 bees as an estimate, ready for a string and you still do it,then you are a hateful imbecile.

They are just silly if they did not use protection. I am wondering for what purpose the bees make honey? It can't be for humans to steal and eat! I am wondering how removing the honey from bees affects their lifestyle. I am sure that most people are aware of the efforts to save bees as their population has declined incredibly in recent years and the earth is unable to exist without them. Surely taking the honey is not such a good idea.
