A couple from North Carolina was arrested Tuesday after police said they found their 2-year-old son wandering alone in the street.
Not only was the toddler completely nude, he was covered with feces all over him, according to authorities.
Responding officers went to the house of the little boy's parents and discovered the couple sound asleep in a back bedroom.
"As we went inside, we found the parents were asleep in the back bedroom. They weren't watching the child at all," said Detective Shane Safrit.
The baby’s parents, Crystal Knight and Michael Banks, were arrested on suspicion of child neglect.
According to law enforcement the Department of Social Services took the child away from his parents and placed him in the care of another relative.

Could this couple have gone back to the barbaric way of raising their toddler naked? Or is it possible that this toddler was able to remove all his clothes? These parents could be overwhelmed by an active toddler. At least for now the toddler is in safe hands. Majority of people do not understand what it takes to have children before giving birth to them.

Wandering alone in the street? They are not ready to be parents yet. They still don't even know what parenting means. Me, myself, I don't think I'm ready to be a parent but they should have done something to make sure that a responsibility as big as that will not be given to them. I'm just gonna wait until I'm mature enough before I decide or before I allow myself to get pregnant.

Not everybody should be allowed to breed. Getting a child is too easy, in fact for most people it happens accidentally. Raising a child to be a decent member of society is a herculean task and not everybody is up to it. It should not be an automatic right to breed. You have to be psychologically sound to do it.

I have a two year old son and my heart bleeds for that little child. I think he is better off adopted by somebody who really cares.

It is possible that the child removed his clothes but the parents should not have been asleep and left the child alone. That was so irresponsible of them. If they wanted to sleep then they should have at least took turns in being up with the child.
