Police are looking for the suspect in the attack a 33-year-old blind man walking alone in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.
Police have released a surveillance video that captures the suspect viciously punching, kicking and robbing the disabled man while witnesses walked right by the incident.
On the video you can see a couple of men standing on the corner just watch the whole thing happen and didn’t help the victim at all. Another man is seen walking across the street watching the beating, but also did not intervene.
“People just sit around,†Ramsey said. “It’s just a shame,†said Philadelphia Police Chief Charles Ramsey.
Ramsey hopes by releasing the video someone will recognize the thug and turn him in to police. The people that witnessed the incident didn’t help the victim at all, let’s hope someone will call and turn this guy in.
The victim received injuries to his face and head.
