The first 12 days of 2017 have seen a spike in homicides. Atlanta’s deputy police chief stated he’s concerned about an upward trend in murders across the city.
“We're concerned about the trend, anytime you have homicides, you’re concerned. But this time last year, we had two,” said APD Deputy Chief Darryl Tolleson.
