Applying for Dispatch

I will be applying for a dispatch position real soon. I wanted to know what kind of skills they will be looking for and if you could give some tips and advice to about being a dispatcher.

Well think about what you will doing and then figure out those skills that you will need. You need to be good at talking to people as you will be doing that 24/7 on the phone. I almost applied for a dispatcher job, but it seems kind of like a boring sit there job. But they are one of the most important people. I believe you need typing skills as well as social skills.
