illegal

I know this sounds like a crazy questions but my daughter's father recently dropped our daughter off from visitation with a python around his neck...and now that he knows i'm bothered by it, is continuing to do this. This has to be illegal, right??

Is race taken into account in the hiring process? Not necessarily one race is better than another sort of thing, but do certain areas (IE, areas with a high rate of Hispanic citizens) opt for Hispanic officers? Would that be considered illegal?

If someone is arrested and the police officer never reads the person his rights, will the arrest be illegal and will the person get off?
