    Fearing Retribution

Yeah, that is why people said that we don't live in a fair society. The law should be equal to everyone, but sadly that's not what happens.

Death penalty sought for Chapel Hill gunman

I think he should be allowed to return to society, but as a principle I am against the death penalty. He should get a life sentence IMO.

Is It OK To Use Force To Stop Someone Assaulting His Wife?

I can't recall the last time I used force, but I would for sure use force to defend myself or other people, including my wife. It's an instinctive response I think though.

Friends in the academy: Helpful or distraction?

Sure, it's always good to make friends as long as we don't forget our primary goal. That's one thing life taught me, be civil, don't be rude because it's always good that people like us.

Friends in the academy: Helpful or distraction?

Yes, I agree with that. Friends is ok, but we cannot forget the ultimate goal of being there, so we need to take the most of it, we can make friends and be with our friends elsewhere.

When working out what do you think of?

I usually try not to think on anything and just concentrate on the exercise, this way I get better results. If my mind goes away I don't work out as well.

    Starting Pay

Police officers risk their lives on a daily basis, so they will always be underpaid, but even so better wages would show the recognition that society has for them, it's more than deserved.

The last time you had any interaction with a police officer?

Great question, it's been a while, except if I consider a friend that I have that is a police officer. Either cases, I live right by the police station, so I greet that often, but it's pretty much good day or good evening.

What are offenses or crimes an officer "can" commit before he's removed from duty?

Re: What are offenses or crimes an officer "can" commit before he's removed from duty The fact is that for an officer to be removed from duty he has to do something serious and a proper process needs to be instructed, it's not something done lightly.

Criminals Now Harness The Power Of Social Media

That's true, criminals can sell it online, but authorities also have web skills that can track down stolen items, so I'd think twice before doing it.

Facebook Post Prompts Mom to Turn in Son

I agree, nothing like being honest even if this means sending the kid to jail. Eventually that's what he needs to get back on track.

I think you are right Gabe, it depends on the context, but yeah, if you are interfering with an investigation or if you sign something that it's not true it's a crime for sure.

Why Psychos Should Never Be Released From Jail

It's very hard to determine is a people was rehabilitated or not, but prison ultimately should have their goal, so I think a person can be locked away for good, but this totally depends on their actions.

    Chicago secret interrogation facility

When the word secret is associated with police forces I really have a hard time giving my opinion as I like clear things and what's hidden usually is not good.

    Community Policing

When citizens unite usually good things happen. The police can't cover it all, so community policing is indeed a good thing. I wish my neighborhood had something like this.
