Hit and run on a cyclist

Sadly hit and run situations are very common and I don't get why people do this. If I had an accident the first thing I'd do would be to stop and see if I could help the person.

Would you turn a loved one in?

That's how I feel too dez. On one side I want justice to be made, but on the other hand seeing a loved one facing justice has to be something hard, so I really can't say.

    Summer is almost here

A couple of weeks ago was so warm that we went to the beach. The day was great, but the outcome was bad, we all got a cold!

    Giving a Second Change

Great question because I feel some police officers are really strict and others close their eyes facing some illegal situations. I guess it's something totally subjective no?

    The end of IE

Yesterday the news came out, Microsoft's Internet Explorer came to an end, after long years surfing the internet. I don't know further details on this, but I think it's the right choice, it was a bad browser.

Are police academies doing a good job training future cops?

I don't have a reason to think otherwise. I mean, they have years of experience, but at the same time they do need to adjust for some new realities. I think that is accounted for though.

    A Feel-Good Story

That was a great action. Arresting a grandmother trying to buy eggs would be criminal so nothing like doing good actions for those that really need to be supported.

Naked Man In Doorway Is Not Breaking Law, Police Say

That law doesn't make sense really, so he can be doing whatever as long as he's inside his home? I wouldn't like it especially if my kids were passing by there.

Serial Killer From Your Own Area

We had an unusual case last year in my area, a man claimed to be the responsible for several killings, but that was never proved, so he ended up being released after some months.

Are police shows like "Cops" authentic?

I don't think it's like reality, I mean, I think they make it look a little different or else it would be engaging to watch, I think there is a pedagogic component to it, to explain to the audience what is happening.

    Child Murderer Up for Parole

I totally agree with that Rainman, so she kills 8 children and she's up for parole, is this some sort of a joke? She should spend the rest of her life behind bars or else she will kill again.

Question on how to act in a potentially dangerous environment

This is a great question and I believe there has to be a protocol for these situations, I mean, precisely because of dangerous situations that police officers get training. One should be super alert in those cases.

    Death penalty

I believe that more police officers believe in the death penalty than common citizens because they see crime way closer and they want to put an end to it. It's not the solution IMO.

    How long to graduate

I didn't knew about that Profit, that is something great! So basically you are receiving training and at the same time you're getting paid? That is why so many people want to become a police officer.

    Starting Pay

I am assuming that they have risk insurance because it's a really dangerous profession, but at the same time I don't think that's reflected in money, just as an insurance.

I was backing up out of a parking spot

I had an accident once just like that, we were both backing and we never saw each others, so we crashed. Nothing too much so we just continued, whose fault is it though I don't know.

Do you believe your local police earn their paychecks?

I really don't have reason or information to think otherwise, I mean, they are doing their jobs or else they would get fired, but sometimes I would expect some more initiative from them.

Should we cry for perpetrators who are beaten in custody?

I don't think it's right for criminals to be beaten up, that's not justice. On the other hand we are just humans right, so sometimes depending on the situation we might lose it.

Would you turn a loved one in?

Yes, it's a terrible situation and at this point I can't say for sure, but I would do what would be best for the loved one to change his life and repair the damages done.

Have you ever been in a physical fight?

lol, I find funny that a lot of people refers to fighting between brothers as the physical fights they have been involved in. Strange that it happens or not, it happened with me too.
