PMLN5423A Adapter: The PMLN5423A Battery Adapter is an Original Motorola Adapter. The PMLN5423A BMS Adapter works with Li-Ion Batteries in the WPLN4079 and/or WPLN4080 Battery Maintenance Systems. The PMLN5423A Li-Ion Battery Adapter requires the additonal purchase of the WPPN4085AR Li-Ion Field Upgrade Kit to support Lithium Ion batteries in the older BMS Models WPLN4079AR and WPLN4080AR. When you turn on your BMS and it displays 9.3v or higher you do not need the Field Upgrade Kit
